Me? You want to know about me?
Well, strap yourself in. It's been quite a fun ride.
I was born in 1964, which means right now I'm 53. But I often act as if I'm 33. Sometimes, though, my body aches as if I'm 73. So 53 is
a good average. I'm proud of my age, because I know that I have earned every step, every scrape, every second along the way. And I am at the exact midpoint of my life!
I have a wife from Poland. Her name is Gosia
(that's GO-sha). I have a son who, too, is from Poland.
His name is Zbyszek... but you can call him Zbys'
(pronounced Zbish.)
I've been in the field since 1989, and I've taken some detours
along the way. Including stage acting, teaching and school vice-principal, and bicycling solo coast-to-coast. I've got a few
other stories that you may be able to persuade me to tell.
Along the way I've taken some lumps and caused myself way too much pain. I've made poor choices - as have we all. And I've made some tremendously good ones. So now I wish to share what I've learned with you.
My approach is Behavioral-Cognitive in nature. And there are some icons among the students of human behavior who have
affected me deeply. Chief among these is Victor Frankl, who teaches that the purpose of life
is to find Purpose. And Virginia Satir, who observed that what
we identify as the problem is
never the problem; rather,
it's our relationship to the stated problem that's the issue. Then there's Albert Ellis. And a guy named Tolkien, who taught us that it's more important to recognize the good of what is right in front of us rather than pursue what we think is power and glory. That the power and glory are right here, right now, in our hearts and in the affections of others.

This is what I believe. Every single problem on the face of
this Earth has a solution. And I can help you to find your solution, your power and grace, your happiness.

And then you and I can go on the ride together.
